  • LinkedIn

Mr. Schwab is the founder of Kronor Capital which he founded in 2007, a high-touch investment and advisory firm focused on publicly-traded and privately held companies in consumer and energy-related industries. He has worked closely with entrepreneurs, family offices and financial institutions providing strategic, financial, and operational expertise.

Prior to starting his firm, Mr. Schwab was a Principal at TSG Consumer Partners, a leading consumer-focused private equity firm in the U.S., originating, evaluating, and negotiating new investments, assisting in that firm's national marketing program, and opening its first New York office.

Prior to that, he was a Principal at Golub Capital, a leading debt lender to middle market companies in the U.S., where he originated and evaluated new junior debt and equity investments in various companies, participated in portfolio management and headed the firm's marketing efforts.

Mr. Schwab, prior to joining Golub Capital, was a Senior Associate in mergers and acquisitions at Wasserstein Perella & Co. He was also a Marketing Associate at Schering-Plough Corporation, where he was a member of the product management team that launched Claritin allergy medication, one of the most successful launches in that company's history.

Mr. Schwab holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Columbia College, from which he graduated in 1991, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, which he received in 1996.

His writings have been published in The New York Times, the Financial Times, The Hill and Fox News — on how to protect First Amendment norms and rights, on the need for trillion dollar investment to maintain U.S. infrastructure, on how to spur lending to small, creditworthy businesses and on how to manage weakened U.S. financial institutions. Mr. Schwab has also worked successfully to improve local school district budgeting and planning.
